Packers defeat Dolphins 31-12, on to Seattle Thursday night

The Packers defeated the Miami Dolphins 31-12 and looked good.

Aaron Rodgers posted efficient numbers of 18-27 passing, 199 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and a passer rating well over 100, with a big help from Aaron Jones giving an effective run game.

Aaron Jones had 15 carries, 145 yards, and 2 TD’s with a long carry of 67 yards. He’s the Packers clear cut starter at running back and their most explosive back. He gives them an effective play action and makes them ruthlessly efficient.

Davante Adams had a day where he scored 2 TD’s on only 4 receptions for 57 yards.

The offense looked good overall and very balanced between the run and the pass. They will be very efficient moving forward with that approach.

In addition to the offense efficiently scoring 31 points, the defense allowed only 12 points and 0 touchdowns. They also recorded 6 sacks and one interception by CB Bashaud Breeland.

6 sacks were recorded by 6 different players. Kyler Fackrell, Dean Lowry, Kenny Clark, Raven Greene, Reggie Gilbert, and Montravius Adams. Mike Pettine once again generating pressure with a strong interior pass rush and creative blitzes.

The Packers now surprisingly lead the NFL in sacks and sack percentage. It’s very clear, they have a defense now.

There will also be an injury report in the next post tommorrow. There was quite some injuries hit.
